Mziuri Park

Mziuri park is a huge, sprawling park set on a steep hillside and down into the Vere River valley. There is something for children and adults of all ages here including:

  • Large art sculptures

  • Georgian literature statues

  • A myriad of walkways and bike paths

  • Amphitheatre hosting free performances during Summer

  • Tennis courts

  • Basketball courts

  • Outdoor gyms

  • Multiple playgrounds

  • Picnic areas and covered tables

  • Skatepark

  • Parkour area

  • Mziuri social cafe

  • “Cube in Context”, a Soviet-era building which has been repurposed into a multi-functional space (art, library, cafe, events).

The ‘Gates of Mziuri’ entrance is on I. Chavchavadze Avenue in Vake, a few steps down from Lui Coffee. There are a lot of steps from this direction, although there are accessible paths for prams, strollers and wheelchair users so getting into the park is easy - getting out on the other hand, can be a good leg workout! You can also access the park from the West-side near the Vake-Saburtalo police station (this is best entry for the tennis and basketball courts).
