Tbilisi Zoo

Tbilisi Zoo turns 100 years’ old in 2027, and the current site of the zoological park in Saburtalo is spacious but is showing its age. It was devastated by a flash flood in 2010, and there is a new zoo site under construction near Tbilisi Sea. However, there is still an impressive range of animals on display at the zoo, and for the nominal entrance fee of 2GEL for children (3-12; under 3’s are free), and 4GEL for adults, it’s worth a visit.

It’s worth noting that there isn’t a lot of signage (or any at all in English) at the zoo. The website has a lot more information about the animals they take care of.
